Arthur Buckler (birth registered April→June 1882 in Newport district[1] — death registered January→March 1921 (aged 38–39) in Newport district[2]) was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s and '10s who at representative level played for Wales, and at club level for Salford.[3]

Arthur Buckler won a cap for Wales while at Salford in 1908 against England.[4]

Note

A footballer named H. Buckler won a cap for Other Nationalities while at Salford in 1904 against England. In this era, the Other Nationalities team predominantly consisted of Welsh players, so it is possible that H. Buckler could be related to, or actually be, Arthur Buckler.
